Samuel "Sam" Cameron passed away peacefully at home. Born and bred in Lawrence, Mass. Sam was a 1953 Lawrence High School graduate. He then entered the Air Force and married Carol A. Cameron (Driscoll), who predeceased Sam in 2013. Sam was a proud letter carrier in Lawrence, retiring in 1990. Sam loved all Boston sports teams, playing cards, puzzles, but he especially loved spending time with his family. Survived by daughters, Pamela Wolfendale of Maynard, Mass.; Rhonda and husband Tom Neforas of Fitchburg, Mass.; Gail and husband Lee Holden of Merrimack, N.H., and a son Michael and wife Lisa Cameron of Georgetown, Mass. Siblings Rosie, Albie, Carol, Aunt Connie and many nieces and nephews. Proud "Papa" to nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The Cameron family will be hosting a Mercy Dinner on Friday, June 15th at 6 p.m. at the Lawrence’s British Club (80 Cambridge St, Lawrence, MA 01843).
